Following complaints by members, MSP and the other campus unions made proposals to the administration to ameliorate the announced cost increases associated with the new campus Recreation Center.  We are pleased to pass along some changes for the summer just announced by the Rec Center.

CAMPUS RECREATION MEMBERSHIP SPECIAL - $40.00 for summer 2010!

The Recreation Center is offering summer rec memberships to UMass faculty, staff, and students for only $40.00 for the entire summer ($2.22/wk, May 16 -Sept. 4).

Effective June 1, the Center is open at 7:00 AM.  (11:00am until 5/31).

Membership includes all rec facilities including the new Recreation Center, pools, squash courts and tennis courts, lockers & showers.

Membership includes Group Exercise classes!

Membership reimbursements up to $150.00 per year are available  through your insurer if you have Fallon, Health New England, Tufts or NHPCare - check with your provider for details.   Camps Rec can provide letters of documentation if needed.

Rec Center hours (thru 5/31): M-F 11:00am - 8:00pm
Rec Center Hours (starting June 1): M-F 7:00am - 8:00pm
