(Lunch will be served so please RSVP – with your choice of date – no later than 9/20 to reserve your spot)

Every year, a number of questions come to us regarding what faculty should expect from their Department Personnel Committees.  We also get questions from personnel committee members about their own roles and responsibilities.  In collaboration with the administration, we’ve decided to again hold a joint workshop as a way to assist and inform department personnel committee members about their contractual rights and responsibilities as they make important decisions (at both the department and college levels) about tenure and promotion, PMYR, AFRs and merit, issues concerning contract faculty, etc.  We encourage all personnel committees to assign one representative to attend one of these sessions and to please bring with you whatever questions you may have.
