Some members of the Provostial Working Group wrote to the Faculty Senate Rules Committee to clarify their role in the process for submitting the CHASS proposal.  Here is a copy of that memorandum.

CSBS Chairs and Directors likewise wrote to the Faculty Senate stating their non-support of the current proposal to establish a College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences.
