NEWLY RATIFIED 2012-2014 CONTRACT

MSP and FSU (our sister chapter on the Boston campus) ratified a successor 2-year agreement on March 2, 2012 which calls for on-base salary increases of 1.75% each (effective the first pay periods in July 2012, January 2013, July 2013 and January 2014).  The Governor did include a collective bargaining reserve in his budget that will pay our raises but that funding must still make its way through the rest of the legislative funding process.

Details Regarding Raises in 2012-2014 Agreement:

• 1.75% salary increase (effective July 2012) -- All Across The Board (ATB)
   
• 1.75% salary increase (effective January 2013) -- 0.50% ATB/1.25% Merit (covers work performed during Academic Year 2010-2011)
   
• 1.75% salary increase (effective July 2013) -- All Across the Board (ATB)
   
• 1.75% salary increase (effective January 2014) -- 0.50% ATB/1.25% Merit (covers work performed during Academic Year 2011-2012)

Please see our AGREEMENT SUMMARY for general details about all other new/modified provisions secured through this round of contract negotiations.  The signed MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING is also now available for those that wish to see actual language associated with the new provisions.  Once the new 2012-2014 contract has been printed, we will post it here.  Until then, the current agreement (2009-2012) can be found below.

** Note concerning the 2009-2012 MSP Agreement:  one raise remains in this current contract.  It is a 3.5% salary increase (2.25% ATB/1.25% MERIT) effective June 30, 2012.  The merit in this raise will cover work performed in Academic Years 2008-2009 and 2009-2010) **

2009-2012 MSP Agreement
