Health Insurance
Benefited University faculty and librarians (50% FTE or more) are eligible for insurance coverage through the Massachusetts Group Insurance Commission (GIC). Insurance plans include health, life and long-term disability programs. The University currently pays 80% of the individual and family health insurance premium for benefited faculty and staff. Enrolled faculty and staff contribute 20% of their health insurance premium pre-tax via payroll deduction. Human Resources has additional information.
