Dear MSP member:

   The Provost’s office sent a solicitation for your participation in a first year seminar program.  You should be aware that the MSP is still in discussions with the administration on this issue, and has not resolved questions about compensation options. 

  If you are interested in proposing a first year seminar, we suggest that you develop your ideas, but hold on to your proposal until our discussions are complete.  The MSP has a scheduled meeting with the administration about this issue before Spring break, and we will inform you when/if agreement is reached.
