Shortage of Faculty at UMass/Amherst Campaign

In 2004-05, MSP mounted a campaign to reverse the dramatic decline in tenure-system faculty. MSP convened a public hearing, issued a report that was widely circulated, and produced a short DVD on the shortage and its impact on students. This campaign led directly to the campus administration's "250 Plan" designed to increase the number of tenure system faculty by 250 over 5 years.
