1.1     Membership is open to any member of the bargaining unit at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.

1.2     A member of MSP must also be a member of the Massachusetts Teachers Association and the National Education Association; a member of MSP in good standing is one whose payment of dues is current.

1.3     Membership in the MSP shall be available to retired former members in good standing, at the nominal dues level of $10.00 per annum.
