Amherst 250 Plan

The Amherst 250 Plan is a plan to increase the size of the tenure system faculty by 250 over five years beginning in 2005. This initiative was in response to a major MSP campaign (see Faculty Shortage). The administration explained the plan here.

MSP has been monitoring and evaluating the progress of the Amherst 250 Plan and has been very disappointed. See the following documents to see what has happened.
