This issue is quite complicated and has many implications for our members, the university, faculty governance and campus morale. 

The MSP is calling a meeting of ALL MEMBERS on Tuesday, May 17 at 3pm in 168C Campus Center to discuss the issues prior to the the electronic vote which will commence on Wednesday May 18, and conclud on Friday, May 20 at noon. 

The question to be asked ise:

DO YOU APPROVE THIS ADMINISTRATION PROPOSAL FOR EXCEPTIONAL MERIT AND RELATED MATTERS?  (yes or no)
[The entire package will be approved or not in a single vote.  It cannot be split.]

Please review the attached documents, discuss the issues with your colleagues, and come to the meeting next Tuesday.
Most importantly, VOTE!  An email will be sent next week explaining logistics of how to do so.
